Our night  cream is formulated in two strengths. Although the form of vitamin A (retinyl palmitate) that we use in this cream  is regarded as less irritating to the skin than retinol or tretinoin, we feel it is better to err on the side of caution.  If you have not used a vitamin A product before, we recommend that you start with the .5% strength every other night.  When your skin has become acclimated to this formula, you can step up to the 1% formula.  

Vitamin A is said to stimulate skin repair, increase collagen production and skin thickness, improve elasticity, skin texture and tone and reduce the occurrence of blemishes. 

This cream helps bind moisture to your skin which can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Skin becomes more sensitive to the sun, so it is imperative to maintain consistent usage of a sunscreen.

Directions:  Start using the product every other night.  Wash your face with a gentle cleanser.  Wait for 20 to 30 minutes before you apply your night cream.  Smooth onto face with a gentle, upward motion.  For the eye area, apply to crows feet and under eye area only.  Do not apply to upper eyelids.  Wash hands.   Once your skin becomes used to the cream, you may increase usage to every night. Step up your skin regimen to the 1%  cream when you feel comfortable doing so.

Warnings: If you have a persistent skin problem, see a dermatologist.  Do not use Vitamin A cream if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.  AHA’s, glycolic acid and benzoyl peroxide may deactivate vitamin A.  Do not use them together.  Facial waxing can cause excess redness and irritation.  Do not use your vitamin A cream for 3 or 4 days before a treatment.  Do not use if you have a consistent skin irritation, such as seeping eczema.  Although retinyl palmitate is considered to be gentler than retinol and tretinoin, please discontinue use if you find that your skin cannot tolerate it.
